Marymound is opening a community pantry in Thompson, and we’d appreciate your help!
Many of us feel the pinch this holiday season with increasing food costs, but food insecurity is an ongoing issue for northern communities, made significantly worse by inflation. Our hope with opening the community pantry is to ease some of that burden for northern families during the holiday season and beyond.
We are looking for donations of non-perishable food items so we can keep our pantry fully stocked. We are looking for items such as:
Canned Meats
Canned Tuna and Salmon
Peanut Butter
Jelly (no glass)
Canned or Dry Soups
Canned Stews and Chili
Tea Bags
Coffee (ground no beans)
Canned Pasta
Canned Vegetables
