How long does the hiring process take?
A new hire can typically begin working within three weeks of their initial contact with Human Resources (HR). This timeline may be extended if there are delays in receiving reference checks or the Vulnerable Sector Check.
If you are invited for an interview, we recommend notifying your references right away, as they may be contacted by email or phone.
What are the conditions of employment at Marymound?
You must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
For all positions, you’ll need to complete:
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Child Abuse Registry Check
- Prior Contact Check
For Frontline Applicants
- Class 5 driver’s license, and satisfactory driver’s abstract
- First Aid & CPR
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training is a requirement of the role and will be provided upon hire.
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is considered an asset.
