September 18, 2014, Winnipeg, MB– The Amazing Race Canada may have ended for the dynamic mother and son team from Winnipeg on August 5, but they continue to use their popularity by helping youth in need at Marymound. Nicole and Cormac stopped by to visit Marymound and drop off a cheque after raising $550 collected from their fans.
During six viewing parties of each Amazing Race Canada episode held at The Met and Boston Pizza, friends and fans of Nicole and Cormac asked questions and learned insightful information about each challenge the duo faced. The team’s motto of “Never give up” inspired fans with their perseverance towards the challenges of life and encouraged audiences to make small donations to a charity close to her heart. As a young single mother raising Cormac, Nicole has great empathy and realizes the challenges of young motherhood and being on your own.
